About Us
Who are we behind the cameras at Schexnayder & James Wedding Photography? I am Kami Schexnayder-James and my husband is Carl James. We are a husband and wife photography team who (obvs) share a love for photography. We have our own portraiture business (Schexnayder Photography) specializing in seniors, business and branding photography, along with fine art school portraits, actor headshots, and family portraiture. We also share a passion for travel photography (Check out my instagram @schexnayder_photography_travel), and Carl has been photographing jazz greats since the film days. We recently added wedding photography to our repertoire and we are thrilled to now be capturing beautiful moments for couples on their special day! Our motto (outside of creating beautiful images and documenting love, joy, and connections on your wedding day) is HOW CAN WE BE OF SERVICE TO YOU?
